Viberg x Himel - Ammo Boot II

We're pleased to announce another collaboration with Toronto's own Himel Bros., this time around we've created a limited run of our classic Ammunition Boot in Marine Field Shoe Roughout leather from Horween, aptly named the Ammo Boot II - Roughout Edition.

Designed after Canadian Army officers' dress boots in WWII, the Ammo Boot II - Roughout Edition represents our updated take on the ideal military footwear. We've selected each element of the boot to reflect both authentic manufacturing from the 1930s and 40s, as well as the toughest materials available from these eras.

Constructed using a blucher pattern, flesh-out cowhide, and a fully reclaimed rubber sole and heel, this boot resembles our iconic Service Boot - but this configuration is specifically a Canadian Spec boot, due to its quarter panel detailing.

The base of the Marine Field Shoe Roughout leather is Horween's proprietary Chromexcel formula, which allows for a tight grain, tough abrasion, and water-resistant properties. This tannage was developed in the early 1900s and has stood the test of time for nearly 100 years.
